Aloha!

I was born and raised in Hawai`i and attended Catholic schools from K-12.  When I was presented with the Gospel in college, I was persuaded to trust Jesus as my Savior by the Holy Spirit and the clear assurance of salvation (John 5:24).

I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Hawai`i Manoa.  I retired after 15 years as an Elementary School Counselor and moved to Maryland in 2014.  The Lord has blessed my husband and me with two adult children.

Each day I walked onto the campus of the elementary school I worked at, I was excited to interact with the students.  I was always aware of the opportunities to make a positive difference in each student’s life.   As the Children’s Ministry Director, along with our teachers, we will strive to provide a fun and safe environment, teaching from our excellent curriculum.

I know I speak for myself and the teachers, that we count it a privilege to have each child in our care and classes.  It is our prayer that Jesus Christ would become a real part of their lives and they would grow in His grace.
